“VG-10 is steel I trust, and in gold it makes a properly handsome everyday cutter — the 6.0 and 6.5 lengths both sit in that sweet spot for all-round salon work, slicing and over-comb. The edge holds long and resharpens cleanly. The one honest note is the finish, not the cut: a bright gold tone shows water marks and fingerprints more readily than a satin scissor, so a quick wipe after each client keeps it looking the part. Mechanically there’s nothing to apologise for here.”
