“Five inches is a specialist length, and that is exactly where this one earns its keep — point cutting, detail around the ear and fringe, anywhere you want the tip in close. The 440C convex edge is crisp and the rose gold has stayed true on mine with nothing more than a wipe-down and a drop of oil. Honest limitation: if you cut a lot of long, heavy hair, the short blade will have you working harder per section than a 6.0-inch would, so it suits precision over speed.”
