Keiun layers stainless steel with a cobalt alloy to create the Alto NY, then finishes it in a mirror polish that lets the Damascus pattern read across the blade. The flowing layered surface is the steel itself, not a print, and it sits behind a convex edge with thumb-screw tension across 5.0”, 5.5” and 6.0”. Hand-forged in Sanjo, the cobalt content gives the edge the holding power to back up the looks.
