“If you want a hero scissor that photographs as well as it cuts, this is the one — ATS-314 is genuinely excellent steel and the gold finish is the boldest in the range. It rewards confident slice and point work across all three lengths, and the longer 7.0-inch in particular flatters classic over-comb cutting. Two honest caveats: at this price it’s a considered purchase rather than a first scissor, and a bold gold finish shows fingerprints and water spots more than a matte tone, so it pays to keep a cloth handy.
